A shorter weekday daycare stay, often used for the required trial before regular days or boarding.

  • Meet-and-sniff visit comes before the trial.
  • Owner stays on site for the meet visit.
  • Vaccination records must be supplied first.

2 A trial tells us more than a perfect photo ever could.

For one dog, including daytime play, quiet rest, feeding to owner instructions and two owner updates.

  • 2 night minimum, 3 nights in school holidays.
  • 4 night minimum over Christmas and New Year.
  • 25% deposit secures boarding dates.

3 Boarding is usually booked 2 to 6 weeks ahead.

£24 per night

For a second dog from the same household sharing the same sleeping room.

  • Only for dogs already comfortable together.
  • Same trial and vaccination rules apply.

4 Shared rooms are for known companions, not hopeful introductions.

  • 2 night minimum, 3 nights in school holidays, 4 nights over Christmas and New Year.

For one rabbit, or £14 per night for a bonded pair sharing.

  • Owner food in labelled portions.
  • Hay, bedding and enrichment supplied.

6 Bonded rabbits stay bonded by being kept boringly settled.

07

Guinea pig hutch

Guinea Pig Boarding

  • Daily checks without over-handling.
  • Clean bedding and hay supplied.
  • 3 night minimum during school holidays, 4 nights over Christmas and New Year.

08

Weekday transport

Local Pet Taxi

£8 each way

Monday to Friday only, within 5 road miles of IP4. Covers IP1, IP2, IP3, IP4 and IP5 addresses that fall inside the distance.

  • By arrangement, not a guaranteed route.
  • No bank holiday handovers.
  • Nearby villages considered by arrangement.

8 The taxi is useful, but it is not a same-day shortcut.

09

Private camera

Webcam Add-On

£3 per night

Private sleeping-area webcam access when available. It is not a public livestream and links expire.

  • Available only in suitable rooms.
  • No audio recording.
  • No filming other clients’ animals in identifiable ways.

9 A camera can reassure an owner, but it does not replace a human check.

Included in the stay

The Ordinary Things That Matter

  • Feeding

Owner food is served from labelled portions, so stomachs do not get a surprise holiday diet.

  • Bedding

Animal Mash supplies bedding, bowls, litter, hay and enrichment toys unless an owner requests a specific bedding preference.

  • Yard time

Dogs use the secure yard, covered run and lead routes. There are no off-lead public field walks.

  • Updates

Boarding includes two owner updates. Daycare notes are practical, especially during trials or behaviour changes.

  • Cleaning

Bowls, cabins, sleeping rooms, litter trays and hutches are cleaned on a steady daily schedule, not only when they look untidy.

  • Quiet rest

Rest periods are built into the day because tired animals can become noisy, worried or rude.

First visit rules

Before a New Animal Stays

  • Meet visit

New dogs need a free 25-minute meet-and-sniff visit, usually Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

  • Trial

All new daycare dogs complete a paid half-day trial at £18 before full days or boarding.

  • Vaccines

Vaccination records are emailed at least 7 days before the first stay. Kennel cough for dogs is required and must be given at least 14 days before arrival.

  • Minimum stays

Dogs and cats: 2 nights minimum; school holidays: 3 nights; Christmas/New Year: 4 nights.

  • Deposit

A 25% deposit secures boarding dates. Balance is due 48 hours before arrival.

  • Cancellation

Cancellation terms are confirmed in writing before the deposit is taken.
